Job Description

Frontlinehro is seeking a Payroll Specialist to administer full-cycle multi-state payroll for the Frontlinehro Division and to ensure accurate, timely completion and compliance with divisional and corporate policies and procedures and state regulations. The individual will be the key manager of ADP Validation tables and practitioner access and will partner with Divisional HR/Payroll team to ensure payroll processes are running smoothly.

Job Requirements

 

  • Ensure that bi-weekly payroll is processed accurately and timely through ADP Workforce Now for exempt and non-exempt employees, including commission employees
  • Consolidate timecards and enter data into payroll databases, calculate paycheck amounts, and distribute funds to employee accounts
  • Timely submission of: Payroll reports, tax reports, labor reports, nalizing payroll timecards
  • Review overtime hours and PTO (Paid Time O) requests, and communicate any issues to Manager Manage 401k le feed and review for accuracy
  • Manage monthly Workers Compensation reports
  • Maintain records used to determine eligibility for vacation, holiday, sick leave, and bonuses
  • Reconcile withheld taxes and gross earnings for quarterly, year end tax reporting and W2 processing for the division.
  • Work with vendor in multi-state license, tax and registration set up. Identify and investigate any labor variances and codes
  • Subject expert on ADP payroll processing
  • Handle employee and manager inquiries related to payroll, 401k benets and PTO Assist employees with Self-Service and Time and Attendance access
  • Periodically audit the divisions payroll and timecard approvals
  • Monitor and assist with garnishments, support orders and liens, and overall payroll compliance Along with HR team, create and introduce new payroll policies and procedures to employees and managers
  • Receive, review and process mail
  • Work closely with accounting and division teams as needed
  • Process all HR/Payroll related invoices and advise accounting department accordingly Create and update SOPs
  • All other payroll and/or administrative tasks as required Assist with audits and special projects as needed

 

Additional Information

What You Will Bring: 

  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in accounting or HR is preferred
  • 2+ years’ hands on experience in ADP WorkforceNow required
  • 2 years' experience with full cycle payroll processing for mid-size organization
  • Experience with Multi-State set up and compliance
  • Understanding of Wage & Hour laws at Federal and State levels
  • Procient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs Excellent mathematical and calculation skills
