Job Description

Frontlinehro is seeking a Payroll Specialist to administer full-cycle multi-state payroll for the Frontlinehro Division and to ensure accurate, timely completion and compliance with divisional and corporate policies and procedures and state regulations. The individual will be the key manager of ADP Validation tables and practitioner access and will partner with Divisional HR/Payroll team to ensure payroll processes are running smoothly. Individual must have ADP Workforce Now Payroll processing experience.

Job Requirements

  • Process and manage end-to-end, bi-weekly payroll processing for the organization (~100 employees)  including collecting, calculating, and inputting payroll data accurately and on time. 
  • Verify time and attendance of employees using ADP
  • Oversee 401(k) and benefit enrollment and changes, including funds transfers to provider
  • Works with payroll data batches and validation tables 
  • Reports and reconciliation
  • Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant federal, state and local payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Internal Revenue Code (IRC).
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other updates. Manage employee deductions, benefits and garnishments. Prepare and distribute annual employee tax documents, such as W-2 forms.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure payroll accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues promptly. Prepare regular payroll reports for management which provide insight into payroll costs, benefits, taxes and other related metrics. Lead data gathering for external audits such as Workers Compensation or 401k.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and issues. Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related matters.

Additional Information

What You Will Bring: 

  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in accounting or HR is preferred
  • 2+ years’ hands on experience in ADP WorkforceNow required
  • 2 years' experience with full cycle payroll processing for mid-size organization
  • Experience with Multi-State set up and compliance
  • Understanding of Wage & Hour laws at Federal and State levels
  • Procient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs Excellent mathematical and calculation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to consistently meet deadlines
